My sister recently draw my attention to the Amsterdam kids' store Keet in huis. Funny, because I knew the store and have (window)shopped there while pregnant, two times. Totally forgot about it (baby brain!).

shampoodle
I'm longing for spring, for summer! Unfortunately it's still crappy weather out here, so I am more tempted to show you a preview of the beautiful AW13 collection of Shampoodle than this sunny SS13 one. But that wouldn't be fair, would it? Because look, there are some wonderful items in this collection en I love colour and I love stripes. Now, if they could add some sunshine to my order, I would immediately order the whole lot!

color blocking 2013
It's been a while since I did a 'color blocking' post, but here's a new product I really like
'Fun polyester decorative plywood blocks can be joined with doweling to form various shapes – the only limit is your imagination. Holes on five sides allows the blocks to be connected three-dimensionally in an infinite number of ways.'
A big plus: these blocks are a lot more difficult to be tumbled over (un/intentionally) by a little brother...

One of the first brands I fell in love with when I started my quest for nice boys' clothing a year ago was La Miniatura. Their new SS13 collection is online and although it's still freezing all around and I feel I'm not yet 'allowed' to enjoy summer clothing (probably the Calvinist in me), here are some of my favourite items of the collection

... and the snow keeps coming back...
I've been meaning to post these photos for a while now, wanting to say how happy I am that the days are getting longer, the sun gets into our living room again... but the snow keeps coming back! (this week will be the fourth time in 2013... argh) Don't get me wrong, I like snow, I like a good winter, but weather gods: please make up your mind!
