Last Sunday we visited De Olmenhorst, an estate with - among other things - an apple tree orchard. During the autumn holidays people are invited to pick the apples themselves. It's a real nice outing... How often do you get the chance to pick apples from a tree and pay them by weighing them in huge scales?

My eldest understood what we were doing and enjoyed picking the apples from their trees.

My youngest on the other hand, oh well... let's just say he hasn't been this dirty since the day he was born and that he put his rain boots to good use.
