la fête

Dear Nora from La Fête is like a lean mean knitting machine! She makes the most beautiful bobble hats, pom pom hats and party hats. Seriously beautiful.
I am a very lucky mama to own a beautiful pom pom hat ánd a couple of masks. These masks are my sons favourite dress up items :)
This lean mean knitting machine is a little bit busy at the moment though, so no custom orders right now. But check in on her website and instagram account and get that perfect hat!

zara home kids

Long long time ago... when I was still without kids, had oceans of time for myself, and still lived in Amsterdam, I used to love browsing through the Zara Home isles. And then I got kids, moved to Haarlem and forgot all about all that lovely useless stuff.
Until now. Zara Home Kids has the best (useless, but so much fun!) stuff you can think of... for kids!

exciting news

You remember back when I told you about baby nr.3? Like about already six months ago? I said: 'One of the things that has been keeping me busy (or tired mostly) is this little addition to our family'.

Actually I was also very busy with something else. While in Australia I had the chance to finally make one of my dreams reality: start my own kids clothing label. I have wanted to do this for 5 years, but never really knew how or what to do. And then and there, on the other side of the world, somewhere between Finch Hatton and Agnes Water, it all became clear.

With the help of a very dear friend, who has lots of experience in the field of fashion (which I have not - something I will tell you all about soon!), I am now working very hard on opening my little online shop within a few months!

There's so much I want to show you, tell you... but unfortunately there's not much to show you just yet. All in time. I do have a logo though! What do you think?

bobo baby

As per usual I'm not the biggest fan of the new Bobo Choses collection, but these two prints I do fancy... a lot. Blame it on the baby fever.

yarnmade

It's always nice when you find a new shop. Yarnmade is Swedish, but recently they added an English site, plus international shipping. Nice, nice!

six & sons

Last week I visited this shop in Amsterdam. The whole vibe was very boyish, masculine. Since I'm expecting my third son (!) I must come to terms with the fact that I will have a boys' household ;) What better place for inspiration than Six & Sons.

kleine fabriek

Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit the Kleine Fabriek, a twice yearly fair presenting kids clothing, toys, etc. It was fun wondering around and seeing what the (mostly Dutch) brands are doing at the moment and how they present themselves. Here is a short impression of my day, I hope to post more about the things I liked best later this week.

Emile & Ida, of course. Love this sweater: the colour, washing, details, Frenchness

wishlist for my baby

As you may know, I am expecting my third baby this spring. And although there is no shortage of baby clothing in this household, I feel my new baby is entitled to a few new pieces :) These are currently on my wishlist
