I was a milk jug in a previous life

I've seen this recycling truck in a shop window here in Haarlem a couple of times. My sons think recycling trucks top the automobile ranking: every Monday morning, when we get on my bike to go to daycare, the recycling truck makes it's way through our street... cheering and shouting at 8 AM! Every Monday morning...
So it was about time I found out more about this little toy.
